Centenary of Queen Elizabeth II

Step aboard history in 2026 – the year we mark 100 years since the birth of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Royal Yacht Britannia was The Queen's home at sea for 44 of those years – a floating palace that sailed over one million nautical miles, hosted 968 state visits, and welcomed the world’s most influential figures. It was also where the family enjoyed cherished holidays in Scotland’s Western Isles.

Queen Elizabeth II called Britannia “the one place I can truly relax” with King Charles III describing the ship as “a living, working, sailing demonstration of the best of Britain,” praising the goodwill inspired wherever Britannia was docked.

Today, Britannia rests proudly in Leith, Edinburgh, as the No.1 UK Attraction (Tripadvisor). To explore more of life aboard, we would love to welcome you aboard!
