Royal Yachting On The Parade

Perfectly coinciding with the bicentenary of Cowes Week, The Classic Boat Museum and The Royal Yacht Britannia Trust have come in partnership to showcase Cowes yachting heritage with the Maritime Heritage Trail.

The trail includes a special series of boards on the Cowes Parade that tell the story from The Prince Regent, later King George IV, declaring his wish to join The Yacht Club, today’s Royal Yacht Squadron, to Bluebottle’s remarkable winning return to Cowes Week after a 60-year break from the regatta circuit.
